Google is apparently adding DNS over TLS support to android which tells me they are trying to put ISP's out of the analytics business and monopolise it further.

@Elizafox I get it, it's using Google's DNS, even over TLS, but what I would like is DNS over TLS as standard, and then we could use a DNS server of our choice without ISP snooping, and not just have Google as the only provider.
All that said, I sadly trust Dark Lord Google more than I do my ISP. There are certain boundaries to Google's evil, my ISP knows no bounds.
