@Elizafox hey so at this point id recommend working through your trauma if you feel safe & comfortable doing that - i was in your situation though my ptsd is closer to cptsd, and my wife breaks down when ppl yell
we havent had those issues since we both started working on our respective shit, its very painful to work through trauma but 100% worth it imo. i cant speak for her but im far happier than ive ever been in my life, even though i still havent fully recovered yet
my other recommendation will sound harsh, but the only other option i can think of is taking a break so you wont hurt each other. situations like these are dire in my experience and its really one or the other - heal, or let it tear you apart
