linux-wiiu now has OHCI working, and thanks to rw-r-r_0644's parallel work, the SD card works too! Seems like a recipe for booting a rootfs, so here's @AdelieLinux running on a Wii U!

As a fun little tidbit, this is Adélie Linux 1.0-ALPHA5 on a Pentium III/500 with 256 MB RAM. The KDE Plasma 5 desktop is a bit slow, but does run fully! Imagine what you can do with the hardware you have lying around your house. Give it a spin 😀

It includes LXQt, KDE Plasma 5, Apache HTTP server, and many more packages. It's based on the musl libc, so it has a small footprint and works well on old and new hardware alike!

We have released 1.0 Alpha 4! This release includes the LXQt desktop for PowerPC computers, and KDE and LXQt desktops for x86_64.
We're still working on bringing a good desktop experience to the 32-bit x86.
