Adélie Linux rebroadcasted

linux-wiiu now has OHCI working, and thanks to rw-r-r_0644's parallel work, the SD card works too! Seems like a recipe for booting a rootfs, so here's @AdelieLinux running on a Wii U!

Adélie 1.0-ALPHA6 has been released for all four architectures we support:

* PowerPC (32-bit and 64-bit)
* x86 (32-bit and 64-bit)

More bug fixes, and more available packages than ever before.

As a fun little tidbit, this is Adélie Linux 1.0-ALPHA5 on a Pentium III/500 with 256 MB RAM. The KDE Plasma 5 desktop is a bit slow, but does run fully! Imagine what you can do with the hardware you have lying around your house. Give it a spin 😀

Adélie 1.0-ALPHA5 has been released for four architectures:

* x86 (32-bit)
* x86-64
* PowerPC (32-bit)
* PowerPC (64-bit)

It includes LXQt, KDE Plasma 5, Apache HTTP server, and many more packages. It's based on the musl libc, so it has a small footprint and works well on old and new hardware alike!

We have released 1.0 Alpha 4! This release includes the LXQt desktop for PowerPC computers, and KDE and LXQt desktops for x86_64.

We're still working on bringing a good desktop experience to the 32-bit x86.

Stay tuned for a new release of easy-kernel this weekend, including a mitigation for Meltdown.

We're happy to announce that we've released 1.0-alpha3 of Adélie Linux, a new distribution focused on stability, security, and speed.

It's available for x86_64 and PowerPC, and you can read more about it at adelielinux.org - or check out the release info directly at adeliedev.blogspot.com/2017/09
